How to avoid "spam" email:

  1. Don't submit your email address to a site that will post it on a webpage/website, or make it into an email link on a webpage/website. This is common with online bulletin boards. Computer robots "spider" the web and "scrape" these email addresses off the pages to include in their bulk mailing lists.

  2. Avoid common "first" names and dictionary words for account names. Bulk emailers will simply send an email to every common name at an ISP (john@isp.com) that they can easily conceive to possibly be an active user account.

  3. Ask friends that you send email to not to forward those emails on, especially to a large group of people, without first removing the association of your email address with the message. Bulk emailers like to "harvest" email addresses from these messages, as they are excellent sources of working email addresses.

  4. Use an Internet Service Provider (ISP) that doesn't sell its list of customer email addresses. Most ISPs WILL make your email address available for bulk emailers/marketers.

GoMailGo does NOT make its list of customer email addresses available for bulk emailers/marketers. Quite the contrary, in an effort to enhance our users' online experience, GoMailGo blocks email from known sources of spam and performs advanced spam filtering on all incoming mail.
